Among many of the bizarre and inhuman practices inside the cult of Scientology, the policy of Disconnection is probably the most devastating for families and friends of Scientologists:
“Disconnection is a Scientology practice of cutting all ties and all communication with someone who is declared a Suppressive Person (evil) by the Church of Scientology. This may include family, friends, loved ones, work associates, acquaintances, or anyone else found Suppressive by the Church.” (Ex-Scientology Kids )
Anyone who criticize Scientology is an enemy of the church and is an SP, or Suppressive Person. (L. Ron Hubbard wrote that those who dare speak out against Scientology are criminals and have crimes to hide. ) Scientologists are asked to counter enemies of the church like this:

Despite repeated denial from Scientology that it does not practice disconnection, ex-Scientologists disagree with the cult’s story:
So this month, in a series of global protests against the cult of Scientology, the focus will be on families and friends torn apart by the disconnect policy. Tomorrow, April 12th, Anonymous all over the world will meet in front of the church of Scientology. Find a protest near you and join the fight . Don’t forget to wear your masks!
