Anti-Gay Republican Finds Real “Family” Value in the Men’s Room

Last year it was the sanctimonious Reverend “you’ll be great like me“ Ted Haggard and the pedophiliac Congressman “don’t forget to measure for me“ Mark Foley; last month we got the racist State Rep. “I’m about to become a statistic here“ Bob Allen, and this week, joining the band of God fearing, moralizing, gay bashing Republicans whose hypocrisy finally got exposed is senator Larry Craig, who was arrested and pleaded guilty for soliciting male sex in a public bathroom.

Here’s a reenactment of what happened:

I have no problems with anyone wanting to get some man-loving behind closed doors as long as they’re not making others who really need that stall wait too long, but this is a married man who wants constitutional ban of same-sex marriage (1996, 2006), who votes NO on adding sexual orientation to definition of hate crimes (2000, 2002) and prohibiting job discrimination by sexual orientation (1996). Is his homophobic stance a cover-up for his secret desire or a typical manifestation of a self-loathing homosexual indoctrinated in religious self-righteousness? I believe sexual orientation is a personal matter and everybody has a right to his or her privacy, but when it comes to phony and hateful Republicans and religious leaders I applaud gay rights activist Michael Rogers for exposing them for who they are.
